This weekend, we had the pleasure of shooting Sarah and Dan’s wedding at the amazing Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, Connecticut.
Sarah and Dan are such a special couple. When we met them, we loved them immediately. I felt an instant connection with Sarah, especially when she told us that she and Dan met while she was studying art history in London. An art history girl! And I think I may have mentioned before that I love all things English. They are both so sweet and thoughtful, and clearly head over heels in love!
Sarah is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out. I loved hanging out with the girls before the ceremony. Sarah was calm but clearly excited. She was glowing! Monique from Shabam Salon in Mystic did a lovely job on her hair.

The bridal suite at Saltwater Farm Vineyard is beautiful and filled with light. Her bridal party was great, including her best friend from London (a ballerina who now lives in France), her cousin, and Dan’s sister. Her mom was also there watching her daughter get ready.

I loved Sarah’s dress and shoes from J Crew. Simple, classic, perfection! And pockets!

Sarah also carried her grandmother’s beaded purse. It was sweet to see how much that meant to her mom.

Sarah, you are gorgeous!

I just love Sarah’s mom.

While I was hanging out with the ladies, John went to the house in Stonington where the guys were getting ready. Dan relaxing before the big day.

The father of the bride and his speech!

His attendants included his brother in law (who is an amazing chef), and his three best friends from boarding school in England.

The boarding school boys. John was impressed by their amazing friendship.

There is much more to show you, including the ceremony, portraits, details and the dancing! Part II coming soon!
