We love Stephanie and Tom. When we met with them, we just clicked right away. Add to that their fun friends, and the charm of the beautiful Bee and Thistle Inn in Old Lyme, and it's safe to say we had an awesome time shooting their wedding!

Stephanie was such a gorgeous bride. I loved her custom headpiece from the White Dress by the Shore.

Innkeeper extraordinaire Linnea does all of the flowers for weddings at the Bee. Loved the fresh summery colors!

Stephanie's mom helped her with her grandmother's bracelet.

Stephanie and Tom decided to do a first look, much to Stephanie's surprise! She didn't think she would want Tom to see her before the ceremony, but when we broke down the timing of the day, they decided it was a good idea so that they could enjoy cocktail hour with their guests. It really made their day run much smoother!  We did it in the Bee's sunken garden, and it was so sweet!

Tom and his son, Ben.

The ceremony was on the grounds of the Inn, down by the Lieutenant River. While it was a very hot day, the priest joked that somebody up there liked them, because clouds moved in providing relief from the heat.

The Bee and Thistle Inn is such a beautiful venue, and Stephanie used it as the inspiration for her details. I loved the burlap runners and napkins, the DIY honey dipper place cards, and the honey pot favors (from one of their friends who is a beekeeper). So perfect!

The delicious cupcakes were also made by Linnea!

The speeches were funny and touching. Her sister (who looks amazing at eight months pregnant!) made _me_ cry!

And Tom's brother was great also.

Stephanie and her dad.

Tom's dance with his daughter had a big finish!

We snuck back outside to capture the pretty light.

Under the Inn's historic Japanese chestnut tree at night.

This image was shot through the stair railings. Just thought it was kind of fun, and I love the rim light on Stephanie.

Fun with sparklers!

All in all, an amazing night. Tom and Stephanie, thanks for having us. We look forward to see you guys again! And you wouldn't mind if we tagged along on your Italian honeymoon, right?
